One of them is the steels whose surface is coated with aluminum silicon alloy and defined with +AS notation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The main benefit of this coating compared to the standard galvanized (+Z) coating is that it has higher corrosion resistance. In this way, equal or higher life span is provided with thinner coating thicknesses. Aluminum-silicone alloy coated steels are a good choice for surfaces to be used outdoors. Roof applications, facade claddings, profiles are examples of open space construction applications.
