The width and curvature tolerances of the slices obtained are as tight as possible, depending on the quality of the slitting line used and the experience of the machine operator.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Components of such cutting lines, consists of an decoiler, straightener, slitting shears and finally a recoiler mechanism. The quality of each component of the line and their compatibility with each other affects the quality of the obtained bands.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
EN 10131 standard for cold rolled products and EN 10143 standard for coated products determine the technical and dimension tolerances such as width, edge wave, edge camber of the bands. Due to the fact that our customer portfolio consists of companies sensitive to these tolerances, we meet and exceed tolerance limits set by these standards. Using the produced slices, the final product is produced through press or roll-form processes. Dimensional tolerances are very important for the steel raw material to proceed smoothly in the production line. For example, an excessively wide slice may cause jamming in the production line. Since our customer portfolio consists of companies that are sensitive about tolerances, we provide slitting services below the tolerances specified by the standards in question, with our appropriate equipment, operators and quality units.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
