Enamel Coated Products

Enameling is a ceramic coating process made by using enamel frit in order to protect the metal against external effects, especially corrosion. The use of appropriate steel grade is mandatory for assuring the efficiency of the enamel process and for meeting expectations of the end users. Cold forming capability and enameling process of choice should be taken into account in order to determine the right steel grade.

Main application areas are kitchen equipment, stove burners, oven components, oven trays.

Steel for enameling process are subject to EN 10209 standard. These are: DC01EK, DC04EK, DC05EK, DC06EK, DC03ED, DC04ED and DC06ED.
