Electrical steel (NGO, E-steel, lamination steel, silicon electrical steel, silicon steel) is a type of steel specially produced to show certain magnetic properties. It is expected to provide low power loss and high transmittance. Silicon steel is used to manufacture the stator and rotor laminated cores of electric motors. The parts cut from electrical steel sheets or narrow bands are laminated, then the copper wire winding stage starts. Stamping, laser cutting and wire erosion are some of the production methods used to process this type of steel. During the production of electrical steel, an insulating varnish is applied to the surface. This varnish blocks the passage of electric current between the laminated plates. With the increasing demand for electric motor vehicles, the demand for this product group as a raw material is constantly increasing.
